We Got the Beat

It was announced in the Hollywood Reporter and Daily Variety back in July of 2008 that Rob had joined the cast of the new indie flick We Got The Beat, which is set in the 80s about a football player named Brad who wants to start a boy band. Rob was cast to play Garth, the boy-toy and live-in lover of Brad's mother. Rob has some photos of himself in character on his MySpace page which are hilarious.

Here's a blog that the creators of the film started about the whole process that went into making the movie. It's pretty interesting to see what it takes to actually make a film from financing, to wardrobe issues to casting young actors and celebrating their successes after filming takes place. I'm not sure where they are in the whole process but the film is in post-production and set to release sometime this year.
